Sheriff Processing Associate II

Thank You For Your Service

We are truly fortunate to have Sheriff Processing Associate II Hodges and we thank you for your dedicated service.

The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office proudly recognizes Sheriff Processing Associate II Briana Hodges as the July Spotlight of the Month. SPA II Hodges has been a member of the GCSO since 2020 and has conducted cross-training in both the Active and Inactive Records Units.

Recently, she played a crucial role in a tragic case involving the identification of an individual who had been released from jail and was later found deceased in a hit-and-run incident. SPA II Hodges provided assistance to the GCSO Evening Watch supervisor and the GCPD by taking immediate action and contacting Central Control with key information.

With her experience in overseeing trainees, SPA II Hodges is scheduled to attend the Developing the Leader Within training this month. She believes that it is important to set aside differences and work together as a team. She stated, “Teamwork makes the dream work.”

SPA II Hodges is pursuing a Criminal Justice degree at Fayetteville State University and has aspirations to work with and provide counseling to juveniles within the criminal justice system.
