Director of Legal Advocacy

Thank You For Your Service

For any questions about the protective order process, please contact Miss Jester at 404-273-6035, leaving your name and contact information. In case of emergencies, a 24-hour crisis line is available at 404-873-1766. You may also visit PADV.org for more information.

Miss Jester is a representative of one of the largest domestic violence organizations in Georgia, Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), and has collaborated with the GCSO for two years.

She works directly with the Family Violence Unit, offering assistance to victims who are seeking protective orders. She advocates for individuals both in court and within the community, providing services and access to valuable resources.

In her role, Miss Jester is persistent in her efforts to work with judges to proactively prevent potential domestic violence incidents. She emphasizes the support available through the court system and encourages survivors not to feel ashamed of taking that first step, as there are others who have lost their lives without the opportunity to share their stories.

Miss Jester holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Fort Valley State University and a master's degree in Criminology from the University of West Georgia. When asked about her motivation, she expressed the importance of having a true passion for working with people in the nonprofit sector. Her ultimate goal is to attend law school and become a judge, specifically working with juvenile cases.
